We are Loving Fall

Before the really chilly weather hit, and the ground was covered by an inch or so of fluffy white snow (which has thankfully melted, although it sounds like more is on its way) the kidlets and I embarked on a hike in Lester Park.  Two kidlets were very happy about this.  The eldest was not, and behaved ridiculously terrible the whole time.  I just started singing operatically to drown out her wailing about having to walk through the forest.  Opera is such a nice stress reliever.  

The cross country runners didn't quite know what to think.  

Anyway, the trees were wonderful.  We came upon this tiny little meadow and The Banana kept asking me to take her picture.  I was happy to oblige.
