Friday Morning Hike

My buddy was excited to go to Hartley while the big kidlets were away at school.  We greeted all the animals in the nature center.  The snapping turtle is my favorite.  He likes the painted turtle and the snake.  It was a beautiful morning, and we explored the butterfly garden, walked past the pond, and headed to Rock Knob, where we had a great time together.  I’m always so surprised how tall the plants get in the meadows this time of year.  The grass and weeds are as tall as me and it’s so fun to walk on the path with tall plants on either side.
