New Breakfast Recipe

For some reason over the past few weeks I have been motivated to try out some new recipes. They all seem to be recipes for breakfast foods, particularly different kinds of waffles and pancakes (and they all seem to include buttermilk). This morning I made “overnight raisin oatmeal pancakes.” They were really quite tasty, and for the most part were snarfed up pretty quickly by the kidlets-in-residence.

Ms. Crazy Preschooler looked at me with syrup dribbling down her chin and piece of pancake on her fork. “These are yum, yum, yum. I think you are such a good cooker you maybe could cook in a lunch store. How would you like that?”

“Uhm, thanks.” I said. “But I think I’ll stay home with you instead.”
