Pre Trick or Treat Shenanigans

The amount of energy and anticipation after school was palpable.  In between people arriving home on the bus we managed to throw in a violin practice and a violin lesson and carve three more pumpkins, cook and eat supper.  Kidlets were bee-bopping around here like bugs, anticipating that once-a-year sugar rush.  Mr. Trouble on Feet choose a knight costume for trick or treating, and he had some fancy dancy sword moves, much to the delight of his father and big brother.  The Banana and I made her cookie costume the morning of Halloween before the bus came under emergency conditions when her planned costume didn’t work out.  The cookie actually ended up even cuter than what she had planned, and The Banana loved it.  Mr. SP had made plans to wear his Darth Vader sweatshirt since he purchased it way back when he went back to school shopping.

YaYa was the official treat dispenser at our door, since Dr. Peds needed to go in to work at the last minute.

As always, it was a frenzy of friends running from house to house, door to door, great fun followed by an extravaganza of sugar consumption.
