Sarah’s Daisy

Flower

At the end of preschool, Ms. Crazy Preschooler and I went to a greenhouse to pick out some flowers for her teacher. I liked a basket of impatients intertwined with a beautiful ivy. She liked a gerber daisy. We couldn’t agree, and I wasn’t willing to battle it out, so we ended up getting both flowers for her teacher. The more I looked at the gerber daisy, the more I thought that it really looked like a Sarah flower, bright, sunny and somewhat indestructible. A few days later when we went back to the greenhosue to get flowers for our own containter gardens, the gerber daisy had grown on me so much that I ended up getting three. Ironically they seem to be the flower thriving best this summer.
