A Christmas Trip to Bentleyville

After a delicious ham dinner with mashed potatoes, we cleaned up the kitchen and Dot decided to take anyone healthy to Bentleyville to see the lights.  I went along to help.

We decided that if we were going to Bentleyville on Christmas, we would really do every part of Bentleyville there was to do, which included letting the kidlets stop at every snack station!  Cookies!  Hot cocoa!  Popcorn!  Roasted marshmallows!  We did everything, and they had a great time.

Someone is a fan of cookies! Mr. Sneaky Pants was along too, but he didn’t manage to make the face of a snowman.  Everyone did such a great job of staying together and not getting lost.  Perhaps because of all of the snacks, all the attitudes were stellar as well.

Mr. Trouble on Feet was thrilled that the song “Feliz Navidad” was playing.  “That’s my song!”  he yelled.  Some of you may have seen on Facebook that Mr. TOF was quite perplexed about why we didn’t name him “Feliz Navidad.”  To be truthful, it never crossed my mind when I was considering baby names.  Auntie Dot asked if she could call him “Feliz.”  He was thrilled, and actually answered every time she addressed him in that regard. I don’t think he’d ever heard the song before our Bentleyville trip.  I think he picked up the phrase “Feliz Navidad” at preschool.
