First Haircut

Last Thursday Ms. Crazy Preschooler and I were waiting for a student to come who forgot her lesson day. I asked her if she’d like me to cut her hair, and she said, “Sure!”

Not wanting to pass up the opportunity, I steered her to the kitchen, found my sewing scissors, wrapped a Sesame Street towel around her neck and carefully snipped the back away. It was a bit nervewracking for me, but we are both delighted with the end result.

I saved all the hair in a little plastic bag. I couldn’t help myself! We’ve been working on it for four and a half years, and it is so silky and soft and purely blond with baby curls.
