They loved it.  They wasted a lot of water.  They didn’t realize that sand would seriously inhibit the new spray nozzle for the garden hose, which now turns with great difficulty.  But at least it still turns.

It was a toasty afternoon, and in the middle of it I decided that I would just finish this half-done quilt for the baby since it meant that I would get to be in the cool basement parked on a chair for a bit.  I really wasn’t in the mood…
