Preschool Boo Ball

We’ve been super fortunate to get to attend six preschool Boo Balls throughout the last few years.  It’s always a highly anticipated event in our house.  YaYa and I did not wear costumes because YaYa was on her way to a piano lesson after the ball, and I had come right from teaching lessons all afternoon.  Mr. SP also did not wear a costume.  He lurked in the corner with a friend from school who also has a little brother at our preschool.  They ate many snacks.    Dr. Peds was a wonderful mad scientist, The Banana was a renaissance princess, and Mr. TOF was an astronaut.

There was dancing and merry making!  The Twist!  The Locomotion!  The Chicken Dance!  The Hokey Pokey!  The Limbo!

Mr. TOF told me he had plans to “cut it up” on the dance floor, but for the first half hour he danced like crazy on the sidelines because he was worried people might be watching him.  Eventually his friends convinced him to venture out into the middle of the dance floor, and they spent a lot of time spinning in circles.  I danced the chicken dance with my boy, but he had me spinning so fast in one direction that I never did quite recover from the vertigo.
