The Belly: 34 Weeks

I didn’t document any of my other pregnancies.  I’m not going to document very much of this one, but I have to post this picture that I just took in the bathroom because with this pregnancy I seem to forget about how big my belly is and I have actually run into several PEOPLE with it this week.  How embarrassing.  We’re by no means at the maximum bigness yet, but it is starting to get hard to reach the sink to do the dishes.  I might have to employ my supply of slave labor to do that job.  Half of my maternity clothes are now too small.  Sometimes I think that this baby is going to be smaller than the last two, and then other days I am pretty convinced he’s right on par to be just as big, if not bigger.

I still laugh at how frustrated I was with the set up of our kitchen in our first house in Bismarck. I thought it was ridiculous how far the cupboards were away from a normal person’s reach. Of course we moved in when I was well over 6 months pregnant with the boys. Then, amazingly enough, all of the sudden when they were born and the pregnant belly was gone I could walk right up and reach everything in the cupboards! And I remember running into lots of things (people, walls, especially corners I didn’t take wide enough) with this most recent pregnancy! Isn’t it funny how you feel huge at times but still don’t really “think” huge? But you are close! So close! I hope you keep feeling okay!

With Alex, I use to try to turn sideways to get through racks of clothes at stores and end up bouncing off of them because I was actually bigger that way
