An Overnight at My Parents’ House

These images are actually from a couple of weeks ago, and just getting posted now because the image card they were on was accidentally left in North Dakota at my mother-in-laws, along with my camera for two weeks.  She tried mailing the card, but it was temporarily lost in the mail, and just recently popped back into my possession, for which I am extremely grateful.  Losing the card would not have been the end of the world, but there were some very precious images on the card that I would have felt bad about missing for forever.

In the process of dropping off Mr. SP at International Music Camp and picking him up while dropping YaYa off, I managed to visit my parents TWICE in one week on trips back and forth from Duluth.  Seeing them twice in the same week on two separate trips has probably not happened for at least 13 years!  Crazy.

On my second overnight stay my nephews and sister-in-law happened to be visiting too.  I didn’t know they were going to be there, so I was especially delighted since I didn’t know if I would get a chance to see them at all this summer.  They arrived before me, and I left before them, but it was a great few hours.
