Honesty from the Five Year Old
After breakfast most mornings I read out loud to Mr. SP and The Banana. We all snuggle together on the futon. The other day The Banana went off with Dr. Peds to take Ya Ya to art camp, and Mr. Sneaky Pants and I stayed home.
Me: (sitting on the futon) Well, what do you think would be better? Would you like to read books first? Or should I take a shower first and then we could read books?
Mr. SP: Oh, I think we should read books first, and then you should take a shower, because I’m REALLY used to you being VERY stinky when we read books in the morning. So, it’s OK. I can handle it.
