Emergent Writing
He wrote some stories and poems this week while I was in the other room teaching students. My favorites were these two pieces of writing that fit together like a puzzle. Stories (and even better . . . poems!) written by kidlets make me very happy, and I’m always surprised and thrilled when they hand me one to read.
Side note: This boy almost always seems to have an apple in his hand to snack on. We go through so many apples each week! It’s crazy. The grocery store checkout people ask me questions about it all the time.
