Sunday Night at the Beach: Edition 2

We loaded up some neighbors and headed to the sandy beach on what I think was the hottest Memorial Day weekend since we’ve moved here.  It was crazy hot on the hill, but a good 35 degrees colder down at the beach, which meant we were actually shivering, partly because of the wind, and partly because of the climate change.

The change in air temperature did not stop these goofballs from heading right into the Lake, and did not act as a catalyst for them to get out of the water either.  They spend a good half hour in the cold, cold water.  All along the beach there were people.  No one else was in the water.

Eventually they did get out to run around in the sand, play with driftwood, and dig holes.  He can’t seem to dig a hole without getting stuck in it these days.
