The Banana Swims to the Rock and Jumps

The Banana is turning into a strong swimmer (she has an amazing butterfly stroke . . . I love watching it).  Last summer we didn’t have a chance to do swimming lessons, so this summer we jumped right in at the beginning of the summer when we had a few days in a row that were  less busy.   The difference was remarkable because she’s so much taller and stronger now.  She has her eyes on middle school swim team.

She swam to the big rock before, but hadn’t ever jumped off until a few days ago.  I unfortunately missed the picture of her jumping.  I do have a picture of the splash.
