Scenes from the Cabin

After delivering The Banana and Mr. TOF to Grandma Kathy, who was on her way for a week of camping in the Badlands with Mr. SP, Auntie Dot, and the small cousins, we spent a few days at the family lake cabin, and were joined by the big cousins from Iowa.  It was very weird not having all the energy of all the small people at the cabin.

There was still plenty of fun.  Our host daughter experienced kayaks and a jetski for the first time.  She loved tubing behind the jetski.  A turtle was captured in the grass one day, and another was netted while swimming near the dock another day.  There were paddle boards, yummy snacks,  and I must confess that I spent one whole entire day reading and napping in a hammock. There was a very crazy pontoon ride, which I will detail in it’s own upcoming post.
