2020 Sunday Night at the Beach: An Obscure Rocky Location

I’m a bit behind in documenting Sunday Night at the Beach. A week or so ago it was pleasant and warm at the top of the hill, but with a strong east wind, the beach was delightfully chilly. Even though in general our weather has been warmer than usual, we have had a string of Sunday nights with a strong east wind, which means that our beach time has been chilly and breezy.

The Banana, Mr TOF and I hiked up a bit from the edge of the rocky beach to a place that is usually forgotten by the general populace, and a place that these two had actually not ever been, so it was fun for them to do a bit of exploring, and then we just sat on the worn out rocks and enjoyed the wonderful waves, which were crashing onto the boulders in mesmerizing ways.

The Banana and I played a game of “What Does This Rock Look Like?” where we thought of all the things a particular rock might represent: a slice of pizza, a nose, a pine tree, a jackhammer, etc.
