Winter Transportation

The Devious Snail actually asked me to take this picture because the school yearbook staff asked for a picture of his bicycle for their transportation page. It turns out that The Devious Snail is really the only kid who rides his bike to school every single day, rain, snow, sleet or subzero temperatures (which there have been a lot of lately). He has jazz band before school, which means he can’t ride the morning bus, and there are several days during the week when I am not easily able to drive him because I am teaching morning lessons. Always one to embrace independence, he simply rides his bike there and back at the end of a long robotics work day after school. It is, at least good exercise, biking back up that steep hill.
