Mr. Trouble on Feet: Officially a Teenager

The birthday breakfast menu included donuts: Danish and Bavarian cream. For the first time maybe ever no one was really arguing in the bathtub! The Devious Snail was a bit sleepy, however. Breakfast happened very early in the day because The Banana needed to leave for rowing.

Mr. TOF invited three good friends for a lunch of Vitta Pizza and Love Creamery. It was chaos down at canal park, but we eventually conquered the parking situation and a great deal of food was consumed by hungry boys. Next we headed to the sandy beach, where they bravely swam in ice cold water and played water games with a green ball that kept nearly floating away in the breeze on the water. There was also some sort of wrestling tournament that they devised in the sand that involved a lot of flailing limbs, pushing and shoving and diving onto the sand without anyone getting majorly injured (I considered it success). Two friends had to go home after the beach, but a third friend came back to our house for reusable water balloon fights, baseball in the front yard, and some sword fighting. We had baked pasta for supper, and there was a Star Wars movie followed by birthday cake (white cake with lemon frosting).

YaYa came home for the evening to help celebrate, and she gave Peanut Maximus little tastes of ice cream. He was definitely a fan of the ice cream.

The evening ended with a game of Taco Vs. Burrito with YaYa (so much laughing!) followed by a call to Grandma Kathy and reading before bed. It was a fun and exciting day.
