Rowing Regatta

The Banana raced in four events at the home regatta last weekend. She was so tired when she was done that she took a nap on the pavement next to the boathouse and came home and slept 19 hours! Dr. Peds and YaYa watched Peanut Maximus, and Mr. TOF and I were spectators at the regatta. We had the best location for our lawn chairs this year. We could see the boats launching in off the dock perfectly, and we had a great view of the boats as they approached the finish, so it was a lot of fun to watch. We took books, snacks and our binoculars and had a great day! The weather was a little breezy for the boats, but very comfortable for spectators. The Devious Snail helped volunteer at the start of the race. I am so happy that my kidlets like this summer sport. Mr. TOF is so excited to try it next year now that he has had an important birthday.
