Costumes
First of all, you need to know that while The Banana did not actually wear a costume on Halloween, she did have a youth symphony concert the Saturday before at a Halloween event, and she wore a gigantic fuzzy pink Easter bunny costume on stage while playing her violin. She sits in the front row, and it was pretty silly to watch her go to town on her violin playing Halloween music while dressed up as a pink fuzzy bunny.
Mr. TOF wore an evil doctor costume to several different places throughout the week. It was a little shocking to see how tall he looked next to his friends who went trick or treating with him. I forget how tall he is compared to his peers because I see him every day. He is growing fast this fall, and I have to look farther up to see his face all the time.
Peanut Maximus dressed up as a narwhal! I found the costume at a thrift store a couple of weeks ago, and I wasn’t sure if it would fit, but it ended up fitting perfectly. It was the most hilarious costume for a toddler because the fish tail would bounce out the back whenever he walked, and he had so much fun zooming around in it all day. He did not like to leave the hood up for very long, but it was a very adorable look. He had so much fun giving candy out to the trick or treaters. Whenever the doorbell rang, he was THERE at the door checking everything out.
