Four and a Half and a Fisherman

Mr. Sneaky Pants celebrated his half birthday at Papa and Grammie's cabin with an ice cream cake shared by the extended family in attendance, and a couple of presents opened privately right before bedtime (soccer gear for the upcoming season).  Papa noticed that Mr. SP lacked a fishing pole.  At the cabin, fishing is a very, very big deal.  Boys (and girls) fish and fish and fish.  They pretty much fish all day.  Early spring is the best time for fishing right off the dock, so Papa got Mr. SP a special fishing pole.  

Mr. Sneaky Pants fished and fished and fished.  He fished for three hours straight.  I'm not joking.  He was incredibly focused on fishing.  It helped that the fish really bite in the spring, and their is a high return of caught fish for the effort.  And small kids don't care if the fish is big or small, they just delight in the fish, and casting out with their cousins.
