Visiting the Neighborhood Park

To avoid disturbing older siblings who were deep in piles of difficult homework over the long weekend, Peanut Maximus and I took a stroller ride to the neighborhood park. He tried everything he could reach, and then some. Let’s just say when this kid is awake, he is BUSY. He was everywhere, including a little run out of the playground down the grassy hill toward the far street. I barely caught him. He’s a fast one. He rode in the rocking car and sat on the dinosaur. He pushed the swings. He sat in the swings. He climbed he steps. He scaled the park bench. Best of all seemed to be the slide. I managed to redirect him to the SMALL slide, and I think he probably went down it fifty times in a row, and tried to climb up it a few times as well. (Why do kids automatically try to climb up slides? They all do it!)
