2024 Sunday Night the Beach: Edition 4
After a busy day of play in the house, in the yard, and then at the Hartley Nature Playscape, we ate a super quick supper of fresh eggs in the style of scramble, and then we scrambled to the beach at the mouth of Lester River (YaYa’s pick, and it was the perfect choice for the evening). We watched the seagulls, tossed rocks and sticks. We watched the other people at the beach and played a guessing game about whether they were local or tourists. Peanut Maximus did a little wading in the water. It was actually the third pair of shoes he completely soaked in water that day! He’s all about water adventure. The water was still and calm. The temperature was perfect. The sunlight just got better and better until we needed to go put our small one to bed and take YaYa back to her tiny house.
