2024 Sunday Night at the Beach: Edition 8

A bunch of us loaded up the van. We dropped Mr. TOF off at baseball practice and zoomed down to the secret beach until we needed to be back to pick him up. The Devious Snail and Company brought books to read. Peanut Maximus was busy throwing sticks and rocks into the waves, and then splashing in the warmer water pooled on the boulders. Let me tell you, it is a workout chasing him around the boulders, probably more mental than physical, but still, you have to be on high alert all the time. Luckily, YaYa helps out with this quite a bit so I can still take pictures and enjoy the beach a bit.

YaYa decided to go swimming. The water was chilly! She made it all the way to the rock and back, though.

After a bit Peanut Maximus tried to continually escape back up the steps to the hiking trail, so one of us would go chase him down and haul him back, distracting him with some different beach activity until we needed to leave. YaYa gave him a shoulder ride back to the car.
