Lawn Flowers

It had been really busy around here with rowing regattas and baseball games and baseball tournaments. Our neighbor’s yard was featured in a garden tour, and Mr. TOF was busy helping mow and trim for that occasion, which meant that our own yard was a bit neglected for some time, and had a wild and crazy look to make all the garden tour participants roll their eyes probably. Let’s just say you could definitely tell where one yard ended and the other began! On the bright side, wild and unkempt yards are pretty common in our city, and it’s a style that many people adopt with vigor, so we didn’t feel too bad. As a bonus, there were lots of weeds blooming in the grass that made for an excellent photo opportunity!
