Camp Aunt Rachel: Session Two

We traded Cousin Katherine for Cousin Nathaniel as our camper for Camp Aunt Rachel. It was another week filled with obligations to work around, but we managed to squeeze some fun activities in, like trips to the beach to hunt for beach glass, a visit to the candy store up the North Shore, a ride on the “roller coaster” and a visit to the aquarium.

During Camp Aunt Rachel we celebrated Mr. TOF’s birthday and attended some of his baseball games. Mr. TOF and Cousin Nathaniel went on a massive four hour bike ride all the way down to the lift bridge and back up the hill to our house. (Cousin Nathaniel may have underestimated the incline on the return home). Peanut Maximus and Cousin Nathaniel created some amazing dishes in the mud kitchen, and Cousin Nathaniel managed to read a couple of good books, too.

Cousin Nathaniel was reunited with his family at our extended family cabin weekend at Dixon Lake. Peanut Maximus was dejected about the lake of cousins when he came back from the cabin.
