2025 Sunday Night at the Beach: Edition 8

Cousin Nathaniel was visiting for Camp Aunt Rachel Session Two, so we let him pick which beach to visit on Sunday Night. He chose the Secret Beach, which always has good opportunities for beach glass hunting. He and Mr. TOF managed to fill a small container with their treasures.

It was a comfortable and nice night: not too hot, not too cold. Peanut Maximus was up to his usual stick and stone throwing, and Cousin Nathaniel took a break from beach glass hunting to swim out to the rock and back. There were also several rock-skipping contests.

The most surprising moment of the evening happened when we saw a bald eagle soaring out low over the water, and all of the sudden it dipped down and scooped up a seagull and carried it away! None of us even knew that an eagle might be tempted to attack a seagull! It was the craziest thing to watch!
