Cabin Scenes

Every year Dr. Peds and his family gather together at a cabin for a weekend together. The cabin they have been going to for the last couple of years happens to be equidistant from our house to the city that Mr. TOF’s baseball team was having their regional play-offs at, so I was the parent in charge of getting Mr. TOF to his baseball games (there were many, because they ended up doing much better than predicted in their bracket at the tournament). This worked out because the cabin was actually every so slightly closer to the baseball games than our house, so we came and went from there and saw cousins, aunts, uncles and grandma in little bursts when we could, squeezing in fun between baseball events.
The Devious Snail, Peanut Maximus and Dr. Peds were at the cabin for several days, and The Banana was there a bit too, what she could squeeze in between some work obligations and preparations for an upcoming rowing regatta.
There were fun crafts, boat rides, kayaking adventures, and board games. (I had a great time playing a game of Scrabble). Everything was fun for Peanut Maximus! (Except maybe having to go to bed at the end of the day because he didn’t want the fun to end). Grandma Kathy brought her golf cart, and everyone had so much fun driving it around, especially Mr. TOF.
Here are a few images I managed to capture in those bits of time I was able to be there:
