Sloth Game

Ever since he saw all of his cousins playing board games at Thanksgiving, Peanut Maximus has been obsessed with board games. He has been caught many times sneaking into the board game collection and opening all the boxes to see the pieces inside. This creates a bit of chaos.

On a more positive note, he’s been enjoying getting to play age appropriate games with his bigger siblings, Dr. Peds and sometimes even me. Some of my favorite kid games to play are Sloth Dominoes and Picture Bendomino (both picture matching games that I don’t think you can find anymore, but have been hanging around our house since 2001). Sloth Dominoes is full of illustrations from Eric Carle’s Slowly Slowly, Said the Sloth book, and I love that Peanut Maximus can recognize a spider monkey and a double crested basilik. I also love the Snail Pace game. Dr. Peds likes Pengoloo.
