2026 Sunday Night at the Beach: Edition 11

Dr. Peds thought Sunday Night at the Beach was already over. It was not! We loaded up the car. Mr. TOF was driving, and I told him he could pick any beach destination with rocks. He drove to Stoney Point! It was windy, with splashing grey waves. I always love going to Stoney Point because the water looks so much different there, and so do the rocks. The water always seems even clearer, and the rocks are more grey and, well, stoney looking. There are fewer red rocks in the mix, and it makes the water reflect more grey and blue also.

Mr. TOF tried skipping some rocks. Dr. Peds and Peanut Maximus enjoyed getting close to the splashing waves, but not too close. I made the novice move of not preparing for a change in temperature from home, but luckily we had some blankets to cozy up in even though not all of us brought sweaters.

We stayed until twilight.
