Random Things I Don’t Have a Picture to Go With and Don’t Want to Forget about Last Week

1.  On St. Patricks Day (referred to as "St. Pendrick's Day" by Mr. Sneaky Pants) Dr. Peds made grass green pancakes for breakfast, along with green milk.  Mr. SP was so excited to tell his teacher at preschool about his green breakfast that he nearly molted out of his skin.  To make the day more exciting, imaginary, invisible leprechauns (referred to as "applechauns" by Mr. SP) flitted in and out of the classrooms at preschool, leaving mysterious footprints behind, as well as some chocolate candy coins, that Mr. Sneaky Pants said tasted like "melted pure gold."  He was so excited he was literally jumping off the furniture all afternoon.

2.  The Banana once again broke the lid on her sister's aquarium during nap, and then decided to let three of her baby dolls, one stuffed rabbit and a teddy bear all swim in the aquarium with the goldfish.  I can't believe the goldfish is still alive and not permanently traumatized, but I'm glad, because there would be one seriously angry big sister if things had turned more catastrophic.  As it was, there was a very, very wet mess for me to deal with at the end of nap.  And a lot of laundry.  And a few consequences to administer.

3.  Mr. Sneaky Pants has been spending HOURS entranced with a huge picture dictionary about Star Wars that Auntie Dot gave Dr. Peds a few years ago.  It's amazing how focused that little guy can be when he has the right motivation.

4.  I read two novels in three days, while various small people snuggled up under my cozy blanket with me, flitted off, and then returned for more snuggles.

5.  The kidlets think vintage Bert and Ernie video clips are absolutely hilarious.  Nothing can make them belly laugh like Bert and Ernie.  Sarah will watch the same segment over, and over, and over again, until she's nearly delirious and in tears.  We have two season sets of early Sesame Street shows, and Sarah and Mr. Sneaky Pants always pick them for movie time.  (The Banana still prefers Elmo).
