The Making of a Caterpillar

YaYa found a long piece of paper that had been used to pack something in a big box (I can’t remember what for) and decided that it would be perfect to turn The Banana into a caterpillar.  The Banana is a very patient girl.  She was wrapped up for quite sometime while the finishing touches were worked out.  In fact, she was wrapped up while it was sprinkling, and she didn’t complain one bit until the very end, when she mentioned that her back was a little tired.  I said, “I bed it is!”  Another time she politely asked if someone could get her hair out of her mouth.  YaYa took care of that for her.   YaYa and Mr. SP added pipe cleaner legs to the caterpillar (duck tape was involved, my friends) and decided that she needed a bit of grass to munch on.

Side note:  We stain our deck every year, and every spring it looks like this!  We need to take care of that again.

I love the leggs they put on it. For Relay for Life I have pictures when I was a cacoon and turned into a butterfly. I will have to show Banana and the kids the pictures sometime.
