Cowboy Face

The child who NEVER likes his picture taken actually ran in and asked me to get out my camera, take this picture and put it on my blog so that Grandpa Ron and Papa Richard could see it.  He's making his VERY special cowboy face, because, as he put it, cowboys have lips exactly like these.

Dressing up has been the big activity here this week.  Oh the costumes. You wouldn't believe the clothes strewn about, some clean, some dirty, some questionable, some from drawers and closets, some from the dress up box.  I can assure you of this:  all the clothes are mixed up together at this point.

At one point the cowboy costume consisted of wearing a long sleeve shirt, with a sweater on top, then a button down plaid "cowboy shirt" with a flannel vest on top of that, this terrific hat and brown work pants.  I giggled because he did look a lot like the "cowboys"  working cattle on my parents' farm when I was little, with all of those layers on!
