Numbers: A List
I'm copycatting my friend Sara who made a list of numbers on her blog a few weeks ago.
6 . . . The number of days I stayed inside my house without even setting one toe out of the door last week during our cold snap into the deep freeze. I seriously lucked out. I didn't end up having to take anyone to preschool. Sarah takes herself down to the bus stop corner and I watch out the window. All my students came to me.
5.45 . . . The number of hours I have spent singing Hebrew today. The Arrowhead Chorale is preparing for a Jewish concert in a few weeks. I did some major practicing at home this afternoon, followed by a three and a half hour rehearsal this evening. My brain hurts.
2 . . . The number of books on ballet that we have checked out from the library, which have inspired my trio to produce many crazy dance-stories this week while they were cooped up inside. It was wild. There was much leaping, twisting, stretching, and a few collisions on the dance floor.
0 . . . The number of milk jugs we currently have on stock in our refrigerator. It's time to go grocery shopping. We need our milk fix.
54 . . . The number of egg shakers held by adorable toddler fingers this morning when I led large group music in Sunday School for the 2, 3 and 4 year olds. I love them.
10 . . . The number of minutes I played gathering music before each of two church services this morning.
At least 20 . . . The number of hours I practiced to prepare the ten minutes of music above. I don't have the gift of natural music ability. I have the gift of motivation and ability to practice. Sigh. But it's a good thing in the end.
4 . . . The number of times I pushed snooze on my alarm clock this morning.
