Geometric Puzzle Love

A design by the Little Ones.  I'm actually not sure which little one it was.

A design by me, last night, checking to make sure we haven't lost any pieces during the day. 

 I love, love, love these puzzles.  We have a couple different varieties, and this octagon made of triangle blocks is one of my very favorites.  The pieces just feel so wonderful in my hands when I put them together.  The wood smells wonderful because the pieces are stained with some kind of natural dye process, and not painted.  Putting these puzzles together is like eating a bowl of granola filled with healthy ingredients and topped with plain yougurt.  

There are so many countless ways to create artistic designs with this puzzle, in the tray and out of the tray.  Aaaaaaah.  It's so relaxing, especially after everyone else is tucked into their warm and cozy beds.
