Missing from My Office

If I'm missing a bit over the next few days, it's because we are getting new windows in my office (which has three walls of windows).  I am so excited because the old windows were painted shut, and I can't wait to open all the windows in the summer.  So far, the door to the shaker porch and one window were replaced yesterday, and its already SO MUCH WARMER in here.  I'm a little sad to say goodbye to the old windows, though, which were original to the house, and were so old that the glass was wavy.  However, they were also leakier than leaky and frostier than frosty in the winter.  The saddest thing of all was saying goodbye to the glass doorknob on the door.  I love old glass doorknobs.  Luckily, there are lots of other doors upstairs that have the same doorknobs.
