Strong Personalities

I adore every single one of these images, taken in this order, continuous snaps from last Monday over the course of maybe 90 seconds total.  This is how they are all day, each of their personalities weaving in and out of one another’s.  Someone is always angry, someone is usually happy, someone is usually silly, and someone is occasionally peaceful for a short time. Someone is always provoking other people,  someone is the victim, and someone is usually pretending to be extra good because they weren’t the victim or the provoker and they are hoping for some special treat or privilege.  They just switch back and forth, and you never know what to expect out of which child, which is why being their mother is always adventurous and sometimes emotionally exhausting. There’s never a dull moment, although sometimes I wish there were so I could get a nice nap cuddled up with the cat, who also has a strong personality, actually, now that I think about it.
