A Few Images from Gramma Kathy’s Visit

We were so excited to have Gramma Kathy stay with us for four entire days last weekend.  We kept her extremely busy, dragging her along to show off all of our favorite places:  the rocky beach, the sand beach, enormous boats swooshing through the canal, the farmer's market, the bread store, Saturday morning swimming lessons at the university, two state parks up the North Shore, a lighthouse, waterfalls, church, shopping.  Gramma Kathy and I even toured Glensheen Mansion, something I'd been specifically waiting to do with her.  We had so much fun.  It was every bit as interesting as I had envisioned.  Mixed in with all of that was lots of reading, playing, crab apple raking, errands, and lots and lots of loving up the grandma with hugs and snuggles from the little ones.

Although we undoubtably nearly wore her completely to pieces, she was such a good sport about coming along and enjoying all that we did.  I did notice her slipping prematurely off to a deep-snoring slumber every evening, though!
