The Latest About Ya Ya

Ya Ya won second place in the PTA contest for a story that she wrote.  You might recall a few weeks ago that she was working on a story entitled "Beauty is a Princess Who Doesn't Have to Eat her Peas."  It ended up to be quite a story.  I'd share it with you except that I don't have a copy of the text, and the one she submitted has not been returned yet.  Fun stuff.  She's very excited.  

In other news, the eldest kidlet has been very busy preparing for school concerts and church music programs.  In her spare time she's been building hospitals and houses on wheels out of the duplo lego blocks.  They are quite elaborate creations.  She's been grumpily eating her spinach and brushing her teeth regularly, along with reading some good books.
