Lost!!!

Guess who just joined the toothless club?  None of us even realized that this tooth was wiggly, including The Banana herself, but yesterday it got bumped and became quite wiggly with little to no effort, and when Dr. Peds got home from work he discovered that there was a (very crooked) grown up tooth sneaking up behind it and declared that the baby tooth needed to come out right away, so there was more wiggling, and then some pulling, a few brave tears and something for the tooth fairy to collect.

We happen to be on the route of the most negligent tooth fairies ever, one who sometimes forgets to drop by for weeks on end.  Last night I actually remembered, and I was so proud of myself!  This morning when The Banana checked the fairy house, where the tooth fairy collects and deposits, she was thrilled to find a stack of quarters, and looked up at me and said, “Hmmmm.  There must have been a substitute fairy last night, because this is pretty speedy service.”

We are loving the new toothless look!  She is so excited.
