Fuzzy football pajama pants in the middle of the afternoon . . . check

Super fast galoshes . . . check

Big sister’s discarded knee pads . . . check

Space alien rocketship bike helmet . . . check (but you can’t see it in the picture.

When Sarah picked out her new bike helmet, it happened to come with the following wonderful accessories: pink knee pads and pink elbow pads. She wears them everywhere. And since she now has lovely shiny, perfectly unscratched safety gear, she was fine with handing down these used and abused knee pads we found years ago at a garage sale to her expectant little brother, who is THRILLED to own pink knee pads to go with his pink hand me down bike. I’m not joking sarcastically, either. He really does wear them all over.

A side note, I will be in North Dakota all week with all three kidlets to love up some grandmas, grandpas and great grandmas, so there will likely not be any posts until next Saturday or so.
