In Trouble

These are the ducks that are drowning in soap suds in our bathtub.

While I was downstairs having a wonderful time playing with The Banana this afternoon, the eldest two children were upstairs having a bath. They can mostly do bath time themselves. I usually just check in on occasion to make sure things are running smoothly. While I was downstairs playing I began to smell an unusually strong aroma of kids shampoo. I climbed the stairs and found them having a delightful time playing in a bubble bath. Next to the tub was an empty shampoo bottle that I’d recently purchased. Yes, that’s right, they poured the ENTIRE bottle in the bath tub. The smell of shampoo was so strong it made me sneeze! I rinsed them off, much to their dismay, with the shower head and gave them a lecture about not wasting soap. And then I took a few pictures. They aren’t allowed to use shampoo in an unsupervised situation for several weeks.
