Little Lights

I could really care less about Christmas lights, For many years, though, I have been wanting a string of garden lights, but none of the houses we have lived in had outside electrical connections until now. A few weeks ago my dear husband brought home two packages of garden lights he found at Target on clearance, and we strung them up near the deck. I love having them twinkle at twilight. I like being outside and having the darkness enclose slowly into our yard and the string of cute little paper globes grow brighter all the time. And I love that I can sit in the “cabin room” as our family room has been affectionately named, and see them out the window. I love to come home from an outing while my husband watches my kids and being greeted by a sweet string of glowing orbs after I park the car.
