Pumpkins

Mr. Sneaky Pants couldn't wait to carve pumpkins.  He had very, very specific instructions for me to make a very big mouth with lots of jagged teeth.  He also wanted his pumpkin to have five triangle eyes.  I complied. He said it was perfect.  

This is The Banana's pumpkin.  The Banana has been sick all week.  She kept looking like she was doing better so many times.  She'd bop around like normal for almost an entire day, and then all the sudden crash back into viral yuckiness.  Dr. Peds is getting her some medicine for her really, really terrible cough tomorrow.    Anyway, The Banana snuggled with me all night last night, and neither of us slept at all, I don't think, because of all the coughing, so when she fell asleep with Dr. Peds (who was also up all night because he was on call) I wasn't about to wake either of them up to do pumpkins.  They happily slept right through the whole affair, and I just made The Banana a pumpkin that seemed fitting for her personality.  She liked it when she woke up.  

Ya Ya drew this cat.  I ran the knife.  I think it's awesome.
