On The Table
On the table, Tuesday at 2:00
- mismatched 4T socks: one Batman, one navy with an orange star
- an unwrapped pediatric journal fresh from the mailman
- a basket filled to the brim with books of poetry, Bibles, and devotions (to be read out loud while people are finishing their food)
- a jar filled with pencils that need to be sharpened and a couple of well used rulers, about to be put to the test when people arrive home to do homework
- many pink sticky notes with To Lists that each person in the family is mandated to complete before bedtime
- scattered crumbs
