Getting Dressed
He’s figured out how to dress himself! It’s great! Because it’s developmentally appropriate for preschoolers to practice new skills ad nauseum, this means that he changes his clothes and pajamas approximately every five minutes. All day long. There is clothing scattered constantly from one end of the house to the other, mixed in with dress up costumes. It’s still a little tricky to get those shirts on the right way, because it makes so much sense to lay them on the floor with the picture facing up to look at before putting them on. Nevertheless, he’s delightfully pleased that he can do it without assistance.
