New Little Friend

Ipodagain

This cute little creature is what my husband surprised me with for my birthday and Christmas put together present. I’m pretty excited. I named it Claire and spent the better part of Sunday at my computer importing music. What’s on my ipod, you wonder? A little Gerald Finzi for clarinet played by Richard Stoltzman, a few Goyescas and Spanish Dances by Granados, played by Alicia de Larocha, and a LOT of choral music: Rachmaninoff, Lauridsen, and a huge number of various choral pieces sung by the Concordia College Choir. Even though I am not an alumnus of Concordia, I really believe they have one of the best sounding choirs ever. Period. So in the middle of the night, I ipod between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., folding laundry to beautiful music that everyone in the house is probably happy they can’t hear at that particular time of the morning.

Welcome to the club. You will love your ipod in a big way. NOthing beats that first love during the first few days with the pod.
