Sunday Night at The Beach: The Chicken Express Edition

I’m a bit behind, so these images are from a week ago on Sunday, not this past Sunday.  We were a bit pressed for time because we had been watching some preschoolers for friends, and then there was a homework frenzy, but it was a beautiful evening, and I didn’t want to abandon the idea of going to the beach.  There was definitely not enough time to cook and eat supper, go to the beach, help kidlets practice instruments and do evening chores, so several things went by the wayside in order to get to the beach before sundown.  On the way we picked up a box of friend chicken form the grocery store, along with a few other ready to eat food items, like a bowl of chili for Mr. SP, and vegetarian sushi for The Banana (she’s still going strong, my vegetarian daughter), and some tapioca pudding for a special treat.

There was the usual eating frenzy at a picnic table, and just a little bit of time to climb around on the rocks.

YaYa was there as well, but she was not happy about it.
