Crazy Karaoke on New Years Day

Not only did our neighbors up the hill host an amazing New Years Eve Party, but they also called us the next morning to see if we’d like to come over for lunch.  We brought bacon potato knefla soup.  They cooked mussels.  Our neighbors half way down the street brought bread and other yummy food.  I think we all just intended to have lunch together, but shortly after the food was consumed and the table was cleared, karaoke started up in the other room.  One thing led to the next, and we ended up spending the whole afternoon together.  Then hungry kids clamored for pizza, so several pizzas were ordered, and then the grown ups started playing a game and the kids started watching a movie and all of the sudden it was bedtime.

Frozen songs were very popular.

These two sang a lovely duet.

Audience approval!

The second graders at The Banana’s school sang “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” at their holiday concert this year.  They dressed Mr. TOF up like a grinch, and sang a lovely rendition for us.

There was dancing. These two were in the midst of a fervent discussion.
Oh, the crazy fun!  We picked a good street when we moved here.
